The 8 sessions last 1.5 hours and are 1-to-1, allowing for personal reflection, time to practice together as well as look at the theme for the week. During the week you then do the meditations, follow the assignments and read the information provided.
Using either Zoom or Skype participants have the freedom to connect from anywhere. A good internet connection is necessary. The price of the course is 250€.

What happens in a session?
The session is usually an hour and a half long. You will be invited to lie down on your back in a comfortable position. The practitioner then places their hands gently on your head touching a series of areas (bars) that connect to different thoughts, beliefs and judgments. Some people fall asleep or drift off, but not always. Most find it deeply relaxing to receive the session, not unlike a deep meditative state.
However the real magic happens as you notice you start to act differently in your life as old fears and judgments dissipate.

Access Bars in Education
Children from an Elementary School in Italy were part of a project where they received Access Bars sessions once a week for 8 weeks during the school day. The endearing story of this creation, the response of the students, teachers and parents is documented in this beautiful video!

The Science
Access Bars is backed by published scientific research. Science is once again beginning to catch up to what Gary Douglas, Access Consciousness founder has known for 30+ years.

In 2015 leading neuroscientist Dr. Jeffrey Fannin examined the neurological effects of the Access Bars. He discovered that Access Bars has a positive neurological effect on the recipient greater than those experienced by advanced meditators and it produced these results immediately.

Dr. Terrie Hope, PhD. DNM conducted scientific research on the effects of Access Bars® on anxiety and depression, published in the Journal of Energy Psychology in 2017. In summary The Bars were found to reduce stress and anxiety by 85% and depression by 82% in as little as one session. All participants showed an increase in Brain Coherence.
Dr. Hope also found that participants who, before the 90-minute Access Bars session, reported a sense of past failure, self-criticalness, loss of pleasure, and agitation, all reported 100% of these symptoms were resolved after the session.
